My idea of a perfect job is….
My idea of a perfect job is one where I am happy. It’s one where I’m not stressed out constantly, or worried about making enough money. A perfect job would incorporate all of the things that I love to do and that I never get bored of doing. This means that I would not be doing the same exact thing everyday. Each day would be different and exciting and I would be enjoying it all the while. I would be challenged at times when I needed to be challenged, but the job wouldn’t be completely impossible. My idea of a perfect job would involve my use of creativity through the design of anything. Of course, it would also have to be separate from my personal life.
My father/mother worries about…
My mom worries about how lazy and dependent I can be sometimes. Although I am a completely independent person, I have a tendency to become lazy and rely on other people to do things for me. I think she worries that I will take advantage of this in the future, but I am completely capable of being independent, and I know that she also knows that.
The best thing about my relationship with my father/mother is…
The best thing about my relationship with my mom is the sense of humor that we both share. We are able to laugh and joke about almost anything; regardless of anything else that is going on around us, our conversations always end in laughter. We are able to turn a bad situation into a good one, and it is that that I love about our relationship. The best thing about my relationship with my dad is the fact we have a really laid-back relationship. He is pretty laid-back in general, so we are able to joke around, like I also do with my mom.
Something I do not understand about my father/mother is…
Something I do not understand about my parents is their unwillingness to sympathize with me in certain situations. In times when I am overwhelmed and stressed out about school, I know they understand, but they don’t acknowledge the fact that I am working hard and stressed. Maybe they just don’t show it, or maybe they want me to be independent and learn from experiences, but it is something that I do not understand about them.
Eventually I would like to settle close to/far away from my parents because…
Eventually, I would like to settle close to my parents because I would like my future family to have the same family-centered childhood that I did and still have. I love the fact that all my family lives close to one another, and the fact that we can spend time during holiday’s and even on regular days. The family that I have that does live far away are somewhat distant from the rest of my family because we see them once a year, or sometimes even less. I would like to be able to have a close-knit family like I have growing up.
